2 Weeks’ Imprisonment for Negligent Driving Resulting in Death of Pedestrian

A 44-yeard old IT manager, Don Soh Seng Ho, was sentenced to 2 weeks’ imprisonment and disqualified from holding a driving licence for five years after pleading guilty to negligently causing the death of a 78-year old female pedestrian at a signalised cross junction.

The man had collided into the victim while he was making a right turn from Clemenceau Avenue into Havelock Road on 24 March 2014.

Another charge of causing grievous hurt to another 72-year old female pedestrian was taken into consideration for the purpose of sentencing.
